The Bear Search and Rescue Foundation provides the following:

• Marine Rescue training
• Pay for or arrange instruction in Emergency Management to Search and Rescue Teams
• Pay for equiping Search and Rescue teams around the country
• Free air transport to active missions and training where possible
• Health care to all SAR K-9s that worked at Ground Zero and the Pentagon

Captain Scott Shields, along with Bear's son, Theodore, are available for:

• Public speaking engagements / presentations on:

  • Search and Rescue Overview of the World Trade Center
  • " Lost in the Woods Program"
  • The Use of General Aviation Voluteers with Search and Rescue
  • Emergency Management for Business and Industry
  • Marine Rescue

PowerPoint and Video presentations can be custom-tailored, appropriate to the audience.
